Visualization API Copy Existing Chart

Is there an easy way to create a visualization on the fly of an already existing visualization?

Looking to truly copy the object with it's properties, not just display it in two different divs.

I'd imagine it's in there somewhere and I'm just overlooking it given that you can easily do this in the qlik sense UI
