Synchronize OKTA user

Hi, All,

We have a User Directory Connector with a filter to only synchronize users in a certain AD group. We also set it up to reload task for it and it is working well. Now we are going to use Okta SSO with Qlik Sense. I have created a virtual proxy to integrate with Okta and have tested it successfully. When a user logs into Qlik thru virtual proxy, it automatically creates an user account using their email address as the User ID and 'OKTA' as the User Directory. The problem is, this is the only way to add OKTA user into Qlik sense user list. Is there anyway to synchronize OKTA users automatically, like User Directory Connector does?

Yes, we found a solution. We created an Excel file to store user information, and created a new user directory connector (Excel via ODBC) for it. When a new user needs to access Qlik Sense through OKTA, our OKTA admin first assigns this user necessary security in okta. Then Qlik admin adds this user into the Excel file, and synchronize the user director connector. That's it. It might not be the best solution but it meets our needs and works well.
