Replace App Endpoint carries over Private sheets as BaseSheets

Hi All,

I am trying to replace an App with /qrs/app/{id}/replace endpoint. Now here I observed below:

If I create a private sheet from Source App and do a replace over some other target app, all private sheets which I created in source is converted to base sheet after replace operation.

That is the target App will have all base sheets from source and then private sheets I created as well

Is it something by design?

PS:- I am a novice in QlikSense

Hello @raptorshots

Yes that is by design, sheets created in an unpublished app will automatically become public after publishing.

Only the sheets created in the published app (target app) remain private if you publish&replace the source app over it
