Excel File in Protected View

Hi,

I access a folder with excel files (xlsx) and I get the following error message when trying to extract the data into QlikView:

If I open the excel file and enable editing and save the file it works fine:

The excel files are generated daily and overwrite the previous file and is created by another system and there are no options for csv etc.

Any advice/guidance appreciated.

Try disabling the protected view and load. Protected View

Hi Vikram,

Thanks, this works for one day and then the next day when the new file arrives I have the same issue and didn't want there to be a daily manual intervention required.
