Qlik Prompting for username and password when connecting through mashup after already authenticated with ticket.

Hi, I'm new to Qlik Sense, but I'm having an issue with the Qlik qps host prompting the client for a username and password when connecting from outside of the domain. We are using an API mashup utilizing qlik.js facilitated by a qlikTicket that is generated via our proxy, so in simple terms: [Client] requests page-> [Proxy] requests qlik ticket -> [Qlik Server] sends qlik ticket -> [proxy] send qlik ticket embedded in page -> [Client] requests qlik.js with qlik ticket in query string -> [Qlik Server] requests username and password!!!! But the qlik server only requests the username and password when we attempt to connect from outside our intranet. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
