Doc::DoReload does not work with Analyzer license?

Hi community,

we switched from the token based license model to the SaaS license types and now I have the problem, that reloading an app via the VizLib button, which is also using the API function Doc::DoReload, does not work any longer. The audit log returns a successful reload, but the results are not stored.

After trying all day, I assigned a professional license to the user I was testing with and then it worked. Does anybody else have the same problem?

If so, is there a better solution then buying a professional user license for everybody who needs to reload an app once in a while?

Some feedback would be great. Thank you very much for your support.

Hello @dirk_fischer

That is correct, Analyzer users are not allowed to modify data in the app, so reload is not allowed.

This is a license limitation, please see:

"Analyzer User is a limited user license and allows users to access and explore Qlik
Sense Applications. Analyzer Users may not create or modify Qlik Sense
Applications, create or publish new sheets, update or modify data or access a
Personal Space."

We're not able to advise on how to work around limitations due to licensing.
