Qlik Sense Share Button Adding Too Many Filters

My dashboard is using the Share Button extension.

The link works most of the time but occasionally the link generated will include items from a filter that the data is not filtered on.

For example, the dashboard is filtered to a director, department, and period (time period for date displayed: day, week, month, etc.) However it will add a bunch of names from the manager filter (~20 names) even though the data isn't being filtered to specific managers, only to specific directors.

This results in the link being far too long and the link does not work. We have to manually remove the extra filtering on the manager in order to get the link to work.

Has anyone experienced this and know how to resolve this issue? Or this just a bug with the extension?
