Qlik sense loading indicator before objects load

Hi,

We are using Qlik Sense embedded in our web application in an iframe. I want a loading image or a text “Loading in Progress” to be displayed until Qlik Sense objects load.

Is there a way to have a loading image or a text “Loading in Progress” until Qlik Sense objects load?

You can do that but i need to know qlik sense version to move forward & is there any thing else similar/close to this requirement?

Version i am using is : Qlik Sense Feb 2019 Patch 2

I have not come across anything similar in Qlik . Please let me know if you need any more informtaion.

I think you have a option to use theme api in qlik, can you confirm that.?

Hi Ajay,

Yes there will be issues when embedded in iframe.

In Qlikview we have options to achieve this but in Qlik Sense there are no options.

Using qlik.theme (Theme API) mashup we can achieve this but again this will not work when embedded in iframe. Please do check and let me know if you find any other options.

My friend I was able to do it:

1) I made a theme with loading image

2) added it to my iframe i.e. single configurator , i selected my theme & it worked.

@ajaykakkar93 can you let me know how you achieved the above with more details. I want to add loading Image/GIF over the object only during initialization. If possible please share examples.

Hi @itsmeanay,

You can create a css file in Mashup add a loading gif as background to a div when the qlik is loading replace that with iframe.
