qlik-visual (web component) only works with DevHub Mashups

Hello all,
I am fairly new to Embedding Visualization in Qlik. I was trying to embed visuals into a web app when I came across qlik-visual (web-component) to create visualizations on the fly(on the HTML side).

1. I tried using qlik-visual at dev-hub mashup and it worked there but when I tried the same using vs-code it only embeds the visuals that I embedded using visualization API (Capability API) but not the one I created using qlik-visual.

2. Also, I didnt see any connection for qlik-visual but it still shows visualizations in Devhub mashup preview (Connection is made to qlik sense desktop using Capability API tho).

3. I might be wrong but does qlik-visual only work with mashups?

Hi,

I have only used Qlik Sense Visual in mashups. The idea behind Qlik Sense Visual is to pass the dimension and measure data, which creates the chart dynamically.
