Hi,

Not sure is the right place to ask, so please move this to the right place if necessary.

I am using local authentication, meaning I need to type also the computer name in the user field. (COMPUTER-PC\username)

Is there a way to skip adding the computer name and only type the username?

Negative, that is needed by Windows so it knows where to look for the account name you are providing.

You can use the shortcut of ".\username" though, the "." tells the login process that you want to login to a local account on the machine that provided the prompt.
