Qlik Answers - Embed Tested and Working

Qlik Answers comes with the ability to embed into a webpage see: https://qlik.dev/changelog/103-qlik-embed-ai-assistant/

I wanted to share that this is tested and working in our labs. The team used OAuth to validate user IDs. This means that #QlikAnswers can be deployed pretty much anywhere, with little effort to do so, and in its native form.

Question: The only ask would be to have the option to swap out the Qlik Answers Assistant Icon with one that is Assistant specific. (see Q icon below).

Note, Qlik Answers' Assistant behaviour is exactly as it is in Qlik Cloud.

Next we are looking to embed Qlik Answers using Cyferd to orchestrate the Qlik Answers APIs, with WhatsApp. (done already with LLama 3) - Exciting.

Has everyone been able to embed the assistant inside a Qlik app? Using iframe gives a "refuse to connect" message.

I'm also very interested in embedding the assistant in a Qlik dashboard - any ideas on the best way to approach this?

Our use case: The customer has a business process that needs to be supported by both structured and unstructured data. The Qlik dashboard would show KPIs derived from the structured Qlik data model, while the chat assistant would allow users to 'search' unstructured data that lives alongside the structured data in the ERP, such as free text comments by the accounts receivable team on invoices.

News Update: Qlik Answers now working with APIs via WhatsApp (Meta), including smart reporting from Qlik CLoud

Qlik Answers, and more in WhatsApp

What does this mean? It means

1 Qlik Answers Conversation can be called by '/a' command in WhatsApp to select an assistant. Then you can ask away. To change assistant simply type '/a' again. Or select other Conversation options.

2 Qlik AI can be used to create Smart* Reports. Using '/r' command to use Qlik Answers to suggest the report measures and filters needed for a report and send it to you with commentary, automagically.

*This is the only solution that we know that can currently do this. Both report and text using Qlik Answers. If you have built one, we'd like to collaborate to see how best to make the technology more capable.

Note: Reports are pushed via ancoreShare and orchestration via Cyferd.

If you want to embed Qlik Answers in an interactive table and want to add the ability to upload data from the app to your knowledge base on demand with a button, you can use data+ for this. You can see an example in this video at min 2:22:
