Need help with SSL and domain.

Good day mates, I am new here and I've just installed Qlik sense server on window server 2016 (on premise). Then I have 2 very basic questions:

1. How can I configure SSL on it? But after installing it seems like private SSL configured on server only itself but not for LAN user. Can I use SSL like Let's Encrypt?

2. My domain looks like "WIN-XXXXXXXX" how can I setup real domain on it?

Yes sir, All user using same URL mentioned above "Win-XXXXXXXX" windows computer name url.

Hi there,

There is two parts to this - 1 is to get an SSL certificate from a certifying authority (like Let's Encrypt does) for the hostname you'd like users to access the Qlik server and install it onto the server, 2nd part is to configure Qlik with this certificate thumbprint (within the Proxy in the QMC), update the whitelist and setup any necessary DNS records to point users to the server

If you have both external (WAN) and internal (within the LAN) users, you may need to setup internal DNS as well as external DNS to point a hostname to the IP of the Qlik server
