Error embed Qlik Sense chart in website.

Hi All,

I have a simple page which host on my local machine and embed a Qlik chart which hosted from another server (RSMAIN2) into the page using iframe. But when i browse it, it show error occurred (please refer picture below).

Hope any expert here can provide a proper guide on how to doing it.

Below is my code :-

Hi Dicky,

You havent done anything wrong with the code here. Do you have an access passed(License) assigned to you?

The message which you are seeing is because of lack of access pass and can be rectified by giving the user an access pass through QMC.

Hi Sangram, Can you guide me how to assign access pass through QMC? Or is there any online guide available for me to refer?

Hi Dicky,

Assuming that you have the User directory synced. Follow the below steps:

-> Login to QMC.

-> Select Licenses and Tokens.

-> Deceided whether to assign a Login access pass or a User access pass.

-> And allocate it.

Check this video to navigate in QMC. Just follow the instructions and you should be able to do it.

Hi Sangram, Thanks for the guide, problem solved after allocate all the user. One last question, if i want to change the "RSMAIN2" to some public domain like "abc.testing.com", it can be done? Any configuration to the QMC need to be done?

Hi Dicky,

I am assuming that RSMAIN2 is an OnPremise network. If so you need to be able to talk to your local network administrators to make sure that the domain is made public.

You can also go with a cloud provider for this purpose.

Looks the site is under an upgrade. Turns out to be the same for me as well May be we need to wait for a while 🙂
