Is there any way to open a url from Qliksense app?

Hi,

I want to provide a URL in qliksense app so that on clicking that , the website is opened in the browser.

I know that actions are not availble in Qliksense yet but I want to know if there is any solution.

I searched in Qlikbranch but could not find extension object.

Create Text & Image object.

You will find a link option on the tool bar

You can also utilize the Simple Table extension (shipped as an extension with Qlik Sense - see here: http://help.qlik.com/sense/2.1/en-us/developer/#../Subsystems/Extensions/Content/Examples/simple-table-extension-example…) or from the various visualization extensions on http://branch.qlik.com to display dynamic (expression/calculation based) hyperlinks in your Qlik Sense apps, either in tables or through buttons.

Hi Joe,

Can you post the extension with the possibility of a dynamic Hyperlink ? I was not able to find it on the links provided.

Hi Andres,

The SimpleTable extension comes bundled as an example with Qlik Sense. Look for it here:

Qlik Sense Desktop: ...\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Qlik\Examples\Extensions
Qlik Sense Enterprise: ...\ProgramData\Qlik\Examples\Extensions

Once you have that installed and available for use, you can use a Dimension and put in a hyperlink using standard HTML formatting like so:

'<a href="http://www.google.com">' & 'Launch Google' & '</a>'

Yes absolutely, a text object with a URL link will create a href.

This can now also be done in the standard table object by setting the Representation property of the dimension column to URL.

This is an example of a calculated column that will cause a google search on the country name.

Robert, Good morning!

Is not qlikSense possible, and a view of a site in a folder?
Instead of creating a hyperlink and opening a browser?
If so, let me know.
