QlikSenseTask.exe logs

Hello,

I just installed the extension QlikSenseTask recovered on Qlik Branch.

I can not find them Qlik logs executed by the QlikSenseTask extension. I thought they would be with scripts in logs (ProgramData \ Qlik \ Sense \ Log \ Script).

Do you know where they are?

I see no option to redirect the log in the extension, is it possible to do?

its in the same folder as the qliksensetask.exe that you have downloaded.

i.e. C:\QlikSenseTask-master\QlikSenseTask-2.X\

Logs in QlikSenseTask-master\QlikSenseTask-2.X\ are very short.

Normally, logs downloaded from QMC are in ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Script but I do not see them when I run a task with QlikSenseTask.exe.

Hi Hadrien seems to me that it is logged into the archived logs instead. ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\Archived Logs\xxxxxx\Script

I just test again and I see the logs in ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\Archived Logs\xxxxxx\Script

I'll see if we can redirect logs to a different directory

If you are using the QlikSenseTask.exe permanently or for the long run, the only best solution I can think of is to just change the directory for the archived logs in QMC>Data Connections>ArchivedLogsFolder since we know where the log path for the QlikSenseTask.exe goes to.

After changing the path for ArchivedLogs in the QMC , should I restart services for the change to take effect ?

logs run with QlikSenseTask.exe continue to write in ArchivedLogs

My apologies for giving a wrong solution. You should probably change the path back as I myself is unsure. Maybe you can contact the author of QlikSenseTask in Qlik Branch. Again, my apologies!
