Using an extension through a proxy

I've downloaded the export button extension through (http://branch.qlik.com/#!/project/57882593dd42cf18d2312a05) It seems that the extension will generate a link similar to https://servername/tempcontent/.....xlsx. When using windows authentication this is not a problem because virtual proxies authenticate users automatically. But when using SAML authentication the export link must be https://servername/virtualproxyname/tempcontent/....xlsx instead https://servername/tempcontent/.....xlsx. Any ideas on what changes need to be made in the extension so that the proxy prefix is included on the export link?

please file a bug on the github project. I believe swr‌ will have a look at this.

I looks like a bug has already been issued on github back in May. I'm curious if any further work has been done on it?
