Publish app for Mashups

Hi All,

from this article i know that i can publish app to a stream for which i can provide access to the apps but not the stream. This seems like a good solution for mashup applications.

However, i am not able to achieve this after making the below specified changes to my Qlik Sense instance.

Could you please help on how to achieve this.

I have created a new stream but have added security rule that will not show this stream for any users.

I have Published a mashup app to this stream.

I have created a security rule that has a resource filter as (App*). Here i have written conditions that who should see all the apps.

What else should i do to make this work.

Hi Aadil,

if your goal is to enable some user to access only some apps in a stream you nee to create a new security rule in this way:

Resource_filter : App_<AppId> (eg. App_d8c9a1b3-6b24-4193-9ac4-ab9a57aef288)

Action : at least Read

Condition : should be made on a list of user or a group or a TAG

(user.name="User1" or user.group="Group1" or user.roles="Role1" ... )

But it isn't a requirement for the app used in a Mashup, you can treat them as all other apps
