Hi Christoph,

For creating buttons you should give a try to Widgets and the Widget Editor in Dev Hub.

It's easier to create them than extensions, and the editor includes some code snippets for buttons that you could use... Also you can see the preview on the process... Pretty handy for small things like that one.
