Qlik App automated Data Load

Hey,

unfortunately i'm not able to get things clear with the documentation. I'm quite new to qlik sense and need some advice with the following problem.

I Have an app. This app recieves data from amazon redshift S3 Storage. I wrote a php script which updates the data in S3 on a weekly basis.

At the moment, I have to visit /qlik-sense/hub/my/work, select the app and load the data manually from the s3 into my app. Then i have to go to qmc and publish the app, after my update has been run.

What i want is, to include the dataload and publish process into my script, so that i don't have to do anything manually. I Guess there's some Rest-API Call for this, but either I am unable to find the corresponidng Documentation or I just don't get it.

Would be really grateful about some help 🙂

Hi,

Not sure if i am over simplifying this, but can you not just set up a task to reload your published app some time after your source data in redshift?

This would be a possibility of course.

I'm just not sure what to configure for this.

In qmc i can activate a reload-task, but that doesn't seem to be the right option.

Would you give me some further information about this ? 🙂
