    <description>&lt;P&gt;A newly created user in Talend Cloud may not receive the expected welcome email if the user was created in the Qlik Talend Management Console.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Other email notifications are received correctly, such as when resetting an existing user account.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;H3&gt;&lt;FONT color="#339966"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Resolution&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The issue is typically related to &lt;STRONG&gt;role permissions&lt;/STRONG&gt;, &lt;STRONG&gt;email notification settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;, or &lt;STRONG&gt;SSO configuration&lt;/STRONG&gt; in the Qlik Talend Cloud Management Console.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Verify User Role Permissions&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The account used to create the new user must have the &lt;STRONG&gt;Infrastructure Administrator role&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&amp;nbsp;Without this role, the user creation may succeed, but notification emails will not be triggered.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Verify Email Notification Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Ensure that the &lt;STRONG&gt;“User has been created”&lt;/STRONG&gt; notification is selected:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Log in to&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Talend Cloud Management Console&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Go to &lt;STRONG&gt;Profile preferences &lt;/STRONG&gt;and then the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Notifications option&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Check SSO Configuration (Important)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If &lt;STRONG&gt;Single Sign-On (SSO)&lt;/STRONG&gt; is enabled for Talend Cloud, newly created users &lt;STRONG&gt;will not automatically receive activation emails&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To trigger the notification email:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL class="lia-list-style-type-lower-alpha"&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Temporarily&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;disable SSO. &lt;/STRONG&gt;SSO can be disabled by navigating to the &lt;STRONG&gt;Qlik Talend Management Console&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Users&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Authentication&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;After disabling SSO, create the user&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click "&lt;STRONG&gt;Send&amp;nbsp;Invitation”&lt;/STRONG&gt; to activate the user account&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Once SSO is disabled and the invitation is sent, the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;notification email will be delivered correctly&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
