The following error is displayed when opening an office template with Qlik NPrinting Designer:

Before we begin with the solution, please back up your registry: How to back up and restore Windows registry

Solution Step 1:

Open the Windows Registry: From the Start menu, type regedit.exe in the search box, and then press Enter
Verify if the following files exist and note the path if different:

MSWORD.OLB
EXCEL.EXE
MSPPT.OLB

Default Folders:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16\MSWORD.OLB
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16\EXCEL.EXE
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16\MSPPT.OLB
Verify the following keys. Correct the path if needed:

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00020905-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\8.7\0\Win64

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16\MSWORD.OLB

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00020813-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\1.9\0\Win64

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16\EXCEL.EXE

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{91493440-5A91-11CF-8700-00AA0060263B}\2.c\0\Win64

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16\MSPPT.OLB
Verify if there is a Win32 versions of the same key and delete the Win32 folder if there is

Example:
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00020905-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\8.7\0\Win32
Afterwards, reboot the machine.

Solution Step 1:

If the issue persists, continue with the next steps. The initial instructions help to correct keys that are saved in the registry key in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder. However, in some cases, this is not sufficient. It may happen that Office keys have been created in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder. They are always incorrect and must be removed.

Open the Windows Registry: From the Start menu, type regedit.exe in the search box, and then press Enter
Open the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder and search for all the possible Office extensions: .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xlsv, .doc, .docx, etc.
All the folders named as an Office extension must be deleted.

Cause:

Incorrect registration of the Microsoft Office registry keys. This may happen after incorrect installation or upgrade of Microsoft Office.

Thanks, that works for Excel.

But not for PowerPoint and Word. Any other suggestion?
