Exploring a Qlik Sense App with the option Always one selected value active removes the setting on the configured fields in the new environment.

This is working as designed. See the Qlik Sense Online Help about Always one selected value.

This limitation remains in place. If you export the app without data, then the always one selected value setting is removed.

Thanks for your reply.

I understand why this limitation is in place when app is exported without data however, I am facing same issue even when the app is exported with data.

We are using qlik sense saas product and we are trying to move applications from one tenant to another tenant. Here's what I am doing.

Tenant1:

Created an app --> Loaded data --> Selected required field to set to always one selected value --> created sheet and charts --> Used "export with data" option.

Tenant2:

Created space --> Add New --> Upload app.

Let me know if I am doing something wrong or if the product's design.

This makes deployments of apps across environments frustrating.

Is there no way of addressing this?

It is hard enough trying to fit Qlik into modern CI/CD methods without the simplest method of taking a snapshot of an app's configuration changes the app's configuration.

Could the setting be put into an unusable state until data values are available?
