Dynamics Views refresh not working on consumer node

Refreshing a dynamic view on an application open on the Consumer/Production engine node will result in an error:

Refresh Error - There was an error while refreshing the visualization

Looking at the Engine logs for this node in System -> Trace you will see the following error:

QrsPlugin: HTTP connection: read error: connection reset by peer (ECONNRESET)

This behaviour has been improved.

Beginning with Qlik Sense February 2023 patch 1 and with the release of patches for previous versions, it is possible to publish your Dynamic View to a stream.

Versions that include the improvement:

May 2023 Initial Release and forward
February 2023 Patch 1
November 2022 Patch 5
August 2022 Patch 8
May 2022 Patch 12

Review the release notes for your version for Jira item QB-17789.

For previous versions, the limitation can be worked around by using security rules and properties, which can be customized to achieve the desired outcome.
