User cannot generate the reports or make a preview of any image in NPrinting November18. It shows error CEF rendering exception. GRPC rendering request failed

If the xlsx report is created and object is inserted as image (default trend chart of Qlik Sense), report or preview cannot be generated, causing an error. Table is generated correctly. Qlik Sense is in version April 2018.

The preview request failed with message: Object --- of Sense app --- to render. ERROR:
CEF rendering exception. GRPC rendering request failed. ERROR: System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred.

Environment:

The renderer uses https protocol to navigate the hub, like a common browser. Since port 443 is used for https protocol, if a rule is blocking https traffic from NPrinting engine machine to Qlik Sense server, engine couldn't export images. Requests for tables and other objects use ports 4242 and 4747 connecting directly to the Sense engine, so this is why they were working.

Resolution:

Verify if the Nprinting and Qlik sense server have matching and aligned cipher suites.

Allow https traffic through 443 as well as Websocket traffic between clients and server.
If a different port is used, modify the connection to have the correct port identifier in the proxy address.
Example: Proxy Address: https://servername.domain.local:<portnumber>.
