Qlik Sense Data Load Editor button is not visible.

Resolution:

Security Rules

Verify that no security rules have been disabled that would grant access to the Data Load editor, such as the default rule.

See Security Rule Example: Allow access to Data Load Editor on an app for additional details.

Multi node: Node role

A Qlik Sense node can be designated to have a specific role. Production or Development or Both. Verify that load balancing in the Virtual Proxy is set up so that only the correct type of node (Development / Both) is used for users expected to develop/edit apps.

Production nodes are intended to serve apps, but are not meant for creating them. The Create new app button is not displayed for the user and apps cannot be edited. This means the Data Load editor will not be available.
Development nodes are intended to allow users to create and edit apps, but not serve apps.
Both indicates the node can be used for both purposes.
