Migrating NodeGraph 3 to 4

Note: Upgrading to version latest - 3.1.13 is mandatory before upgrading to Qlik NodeGraph Version 4.x

Environment

NodeGraph 4.x

GENERAL

Default installation folder has changed from "C:\Program Files\techlab10\nodegraph" to "C:\Program
Files\nodegraph".
Default "Program Data" folder has changed from "C:\Program Data\techlab10\nodegraph" to
"C:\Program Data\nodegraph"

Uninstall NodeGraph 3 before installing 4.

LICENSE

Due to changes in the licensing model, request a new license for NodeGraph 4 through the partner
portal before upgrading.

RUNNING NODEGRAPH 3 AND 4 ON THE SAME MACHINE

Before uninstalling NodeGraph 3, make a copy of "C:\Program Files\techlab10\nodegraph".
ProgramData will not be removed and NodeGraph 4 will not overwrite it.
NodeGraph 3 can be started manually or manually registered as a service.

SETTINGS MIGRATION TOOL

It is recommended to set up NodeGraph 4 as a clean installation.
The Setup Migration Tools can be used to convert existing settings and creating default connectors
to Qlik to be used as a starting point when setting up NodeGraph 4.

The tool can be downloaded from:

NodeGraphUpgradeTool_1.0.4.0
