It is not possible to directly save reports on FTP folders with any of the currently supported versions of NPrinting.
This article provides a workaround based on the use of the Qlik Web connector and of the NPrinting APIs.

Environment

NPrinting: all supported releases.

Resolution

The PDF article attached here provides a list of steps to generate a QlikView or Qlik Sense script that:

triggers an NPrinting task;

moves the generated reports from a local folder to the FTP destination.

The process is done automatically during the script reload.
An example of the workaround is in the attached Qlik Sense app.

Cause

It is not possible to save reports directly on FTP folders. As it can be seen here, this feature is not currently in the roadmap.

One of our customers uses NPrinting to distribute files (CSV) to their customers. Reading all the articles it looks like this may not be possible in NP 17+. Is that correct?

Hello @alanw58

Does this help with your query? Export Data to CSV, SKV, or TAB Files in Qlik NPrinting

If not, I would recommend posting to our forums directly!
