When using SQL Server Source Endpoint, and you encountered the following error:

Add the following two internal parameters into your source endpoint and increase the value respectively:

executeTimeout
cdcTimeout

If the TLOG backups are available for this source, a separate parameter can be used, however its use is not recommended without instruction by Qlik Support. This parameter prevents Qlik Replicate from creating a transaction on the source.

Hi @dhina ,

If you add the internal parameter "safeguardPolicyDesignator set the values as None" then it will disable the safeguard table and there is a risk of truncating the LDF file.

Before adding this IP you have to make sure that the TLOG backups are available for Replicate and that they are in Native format so Replicate and start reading from the .trn file if the LSN does not exist in TLOG.

Just found this article. In my case, the DBA was running the MSSQL Kill Sleeping Sessions job every hour.

My Qlik task was running with Prioritize Backup Log. It appears it was idle for too long and was terminated by the Kill Sleeping Sessions job. Resulting in the Error listed above.
