Can you customize the QlikView AccessPiont URL?

In a standard and out of the box installation, the default AccessPoint URL will be http://<servername>/qlikview/index.htm

It may be necessary or desired to modify the URL to any of the below:

http://<servername>/index.htm
http://<servername>/subdirectory/index.htm

http://<servername>/ (no need for /QlikView suffix)

Open the QlikView Management Console
Navigate to System > Setup
Choose your QlikView WebServer
Open the Web tab
In the section "Root Folders", change the name "Qlikview" to blank space.
You can also add a new blank row if you want both the /QlikView suffix and the blank / URL to work.

http://<servername>/yoursuffix

Open the QlikView Management Console
Navigate to System > Setup
Choose your QlikView WebServer
Open the Web tab
Locate the Root Folders at the bottom of the list.
From here, modify the virtual folders of the WebServer by adding, removing or editing the names.

Do not alter the paths. You can also remove the 'old' QlikView suffix if needed, and/or add several suffixes.

Based on the above example, you will now be able to call the AccessPoint with different URLs.
