Can users with Analyzer licenses publish bookmarks in Qlik Cloud?

Users assigned Analyzer Licenses in Qlik Cloud can publish bookmarks as of May 2023.

Publishing of bookmarks is only available to Analyzer License Users in Managed Spaces. The correct space roles must be assigned. See App actions by space role in a managed space.

This is a terrible decision.

It creates an uncertainty and subtle behavior which makes Qlik harder to use and not easier.

How can I encourage collaboration without publishing? I am hoping an Analyzer user can publish a Story.

It is like the Analyzer is not allowed to export the data from an Insight Advisor generated visualization.

All these limitations are hidden - they need to be more clearly specified in the License Metrics or on the User Interface so that users/developers are aware.

I agree that an Anlyzer should able to share personal bookmarks in the community at least.

The only permissions aside from license entitlements would be roles. Verify that all users who can or cannot publish bookmarks have the same roles. If they do and you still see the issue, please post about the problem directly in our Qlik Sense Management forums.

@Thomas_Hopp please can you guide me irt the analyzers being able to make their bookmarks public because currently they are not able to.

Does the workspace need to be Shared or will they be able to do this in a managed workspace too?
What additional roles / entitlements per space and user needs to be applied?

Analyzer Users can only publish bookmarks in Managed Spaces and with the correct space roles are assigned. See App actions by space role in a managed space.

To resume, user with analyzer can share bookmark if they have the role CAN CONTRIBUTE.

It's not a good news for us, this feature should be assigned for all users whatever they role.

Can contribute should be only to create content

Share bookmark is a basic feature, with this system, we can't allow users to share bookmark because if we had the right Can contribute, it means that we will allow all professional user to create sheet even if they are in a reader group.
