Restricting Access To Documents From QlikView AccessPoint in DMS Authenication Mode

The objective of this article is to demonstrate on how to restrict documents to be visible from the QlikView AccessPoint using DMS Authentication (not NTFS).

Assign Name CAL to user
Set the Security Authorization to DMS Authorization
Click Apply button
Set the authorization of a document
Change the User Type column to Named Users value
Click the Add users and groups icon
Assign the user from Manual Input of User Names text box
You should see 1 user or group which will mean you have successfully assigned the user to allow to see the selected document
Click Apply button
Open the QlikView AccessPoint and you should see only one document as on this example we just assigned one document allowed for the user
