The higher the need to control the layout for PDF output the more likely an application developer may need to create a report specific application to support distribution needs

You may find that some visualizations have a zoomed in effect, or data elements are cropped out of the visualizations. To address this Application Developers may try taking a copy of the sheet and change the layout to a custom sheet definition to establish more control over the visualization rendering.
Application developers can reference the table below for an understanding of how Qlik sheets are output to PDF.

- Note that changing to a custom sheet canvas will have impact to the responsive interactive analytics experience.
When designing sheets for PDF specific output you may wish to consider using the manual download or subscription to sheet to verify layout / presentation element to avoid triggering Qlik Reporting Service events that count against your reporting service tier.
