Qlik cloud Error while trying to create a Direct Access via Data Gateway: Failed to create the data gateway

Adding the Qlik Data Gateway to the Qlik Cloud tenant fails with the following message:

Failed to create the data gateway.
Error code: REPLICATE-AGENT-CREATE-AGENT-FAILED
Error details: QEM-CREATE-FAILED-1, Failed to create remote Data gateway resource, SDK-8, Forbidden

Qlik Data Gateway cannot be used on a Qlik Cloud Trial tenant.

Resolution

The user must:

have a Professional license allocated
be the Space owner or
have the Can manage role in the space where the Qlik Data Gateway is being used. Even with the Tenant Admin role, the user cannot create the Qlik Data Gateway unless the user is the space owner or have the Can manage role in the space.

Hi @Akshesh_Patel : I am getting error " failed to delete gateway". find the attached screenshot for your reference.

How to fix this?

Have you verified the steps in this article as they would apply for deleting as well as creating.

Hi,

Try restarting the Gateway Services and see if that makes any difference. Suppose that doesn't resolve than we might need to look at the Direct access logs.
