Safely migrating existing Qlik Replicate tasks

To safely export and import an existing Qlik Replicate task:

1. Stop the task.
2. Export the task using the Qlik Replicate Console. See Exporting tasks.
3. Import the task into the new Qlik Replicate system using the Qlik Replicate Console. See Importing tasks.
4. Test the endpoints. It may be necessary to re-enter password(s).

To restart with the last row processed:

Look at the end of the task log from the stopped task for the Final saved task state message, for example:

00006952: 2022-05-04T18:59:51:411012 [SORTER ]I: Final saved task state. Stream position 0:1:1:1, Source id 138, next Target id 13, confirmed Target id 9, last source timestamp 1651690784747736 (sorter.c:770)

Take the stream position value and add V1: in front of it.

For example V1:0:1:1:1

This is the value you can use in the advanced run Source Change Position.

Note that it will start with the last row that was processed.
