Replicate - DB2 LUW ODBC Client error Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 1114

While working with DB2 LUW endpoint, Replicate reports error after the 64-bit IBM DB2 Data Server Client 11.5 installation:

SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Cannot connect to DB2 LUW Server.
SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,Cannot connect to DB2 LUW Server,RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: IM003 NativeError: 160 Message: Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. (IBM DB2 ODBC DRIVER, C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN\DB2CLIO.DLL).

Resolution

Install the 64-bit IBM DB2 Data Server Client 11.5.4 (for example 11.5.4.1449) rather than 11.5.0 (actual version is 11.5.0.1077).

Environment

Qlik Replicate : all versions

Replicate Server platform: Windows Server 2019
DB2 Data Server Client : version 11.5.0.xxxx

Hi,

I know that this post is old but I found a similar problem and need help to fix.

My Error is 127 as you can see below:

SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Cannot connect to DB2 LUW Server.
SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,Cannot connect to DB2 LUW Server,RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: IM003 NativeError: 160 Message: Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127: The specified procedure could not be found. (IBM DB2 ODBC DRIVER, C:\Program Files\IBM\IBM DATA SERVER DRIVER\BIN\DB2CLIO.DLL).

Please, could you help me with the issue?
I´m a few days trying to fix it without success.

Hi @Leandro_Medeiros

I don't see this specific error in our solution database. A quick internet search indicates either a permissions issue or maybe the location of the driver isn't in the Windows path.

Hi @Dana_Baldwin ,

Finally fixed.

I´ve changed the ODBC setting in Windows Register:

For both "IBM DB2 ODBC" (above) I changed the Driver to use "DB2CLI64.DLL"

I don´t know why the IBM ODBC installation setup to "DB2CLIO.DLL" (32Bit).

Another important detail is to keep cwbsvstr.exe "On" at Startup Apps on QLIK Replicate Server where you installed the ODBC driver. If not QLIK Endpoint will return a permission error.

Probably this detail can be helpfull for someone!!
