1.what is MDM?

2.Why MDM?

Hi Sumanth,

MDM stands for Master Data Management, MDM Implementation helps you to keep single view of golden customer record by defining various business rules on top of incoming source data.

Business rules includes data cleansing,standardization, data enrichment, de-duplication, merging then finally arrive with single Golden customer record.

Apart from this you can define data stewards on top of business rules to resolve the data ambiguities.Please go through the attached PPT
