Understanding Talend Data Catalog Harvesting (with JDBC)

Can somebody help me out conceptually with the TDC concept described below. I tried checking the docs but perhaps am overlooking or not understanding a key concept.

I have the tree described below in my object explorer populated from the jdbc (snowflake) import bridge. Thanks for any help in advance

My main questions are:

Why are there two branches under the the myServer root (connections and mySchema) with redundant metadata information
Why are the icons under the connection branch "blue" and the icons under "mySchema/tables" branch "yellow"
Bonus question: the tables under the connection branch is only a subset of the total tables under the mySchema/tables branch, does this mean there was an error in harvesting the data?
