Hello ctoum, i am a new user of TMDM and in this community.
I am currently testing the CE version and facing the problem you are addressing here: how to populate the data container????
I have tested the tMDMOutput component in TOS but did not succeed.
There's not so much documentation about this!
Do you have any real step by step tutorial???
Tx in advance

The easiest and recommended way to import records into a Data-Container is to use the tMDMOutput component in Talend Open Studio. TOS provides hundreds of components to pull out data from externals sources (files, databases, applications...) and send them into MDM.
Did I mention it is free too?
Talend Open Studio is available here: http://www.talend.com/download.php#studio
After you check out TOS, you will easily understand why there is no reason for us to reinvent the wheel within MDM. If you really want to stay in MDM and nothing but MDM, then the only way to go is defining a Process with a pipeline of linereader > csvparser > batchproject plugins. Then you either cut & paste your file in the Studio and run the Process interactively, or from the outside you stream your file into the Web Service operation to run the MDM process. This is how you do it: http://talendforge.org/wiki/doku.php?id=mdm:howtos
