Question about loading data into table using talend and sql

So I tried to insert data from one table into another table with straight sql in a talend subjob and I get the following message

Msg 9002, Level 17, State 4, Line 89

The transaction log for database 'xvf' is full due to 'ACTIVE_TRANSACTION'.

However,

when I try to insert the data from the same table into the output table it works just fine

I am curious how I can see what goes on under the hood in terms of SQL that allows this data load. Can anyone shed light?

It looks like this is a MS SQL issue. I found this post about it....
