Hello, There:
I installed a talend data quality and I am trying to add my db2 zOS drivers. I followed the exact step listed in talend website (https://help.talend.com/display/KB/How+to+install+external+modules+in+the+Talend+solutions+with+the+Data+Quality+option)
step 1): copy two jar files db2jcc.jar,db2jcc_license_cisuz.jar ( I don't have db2jcc_license_cu.jar) into ..\TOS_DQ-r104014-V5.3.1\lib\java
step 2) Window > Preferences > Talend > Data Explorer > JDBC Drivers and add IBM DB2 zOS driver
step 3) add those two jar files to the extra class path. and list Drivers class name from db2jcc.jar.
step 4) add a DB connection by using this driver and fill in all credenital.
step 5) reboot the Talend Data Quality.
After all those, I still have the missing jdbc driver and class not found error. Anything else that I need to do to fix this? appreciate your help!

forgot to mention that, I can use the two jar file that I have connect to my db2 zOS DB in other jdbc based applications like QuntanDb, etc. Also, the error message that I got is complaining missing all three jars ( including the two I have specified in preference window).
So this error is not from missing a jar file, but something else.

Hi,
that sounds like a bug. Please, raise an issue in our bugtracker
https://jira.talendforge.org
Meanwhile, did you try to connect with a "generic jdbc" connection in the wizard?

Thank you for your reply. I just tried the generic jdbc driver. It worked!
I will add my previous problem in your bug tracking system latter.
Thanks again!

Hello Edwina,
About DB2 v10, you've to get jar files from ZFS.
If you're looking for type 4 driver, find "db2jcc4.jar".
The "db2jcc.jar" is a type 3 driver.
Bye.

To fix this type of errors and problem you can apply any manual process. But if you are technically not skilled then avoid applying manual method because if you execute any wrong command then it may corrupt the entire database permanently. If you are not technically skilled then apply any third party db2 repair tool and fix your corrupted or error displaying db2 database without affecting its data. Free Download this tool from
