I'm new to the Talend world, and I'm currently attempting to create a Merging Steward job. I'm wondering if there's a mandatory requirement to use the "tMatchGroup" component for this task?

What does your Merging Steward job look like? It depends on your job requirement.

Usually, tMatchGroup component uses group identifiers to identify records which should be grouped together.
