tDBInput stops reading from MySQL Dab after a certain number of rows

I have a job where I read data from a mySQL data base. The query selects about 50 000 rows from the data base and did until this morning.

When I now start the job (I do not know, what I have changed to cause this) the component only reads exactly 1194 rows. I can repeat this, it is always the same.

The job is still running, but nothing happens and never comes to an end. No error message.

What could be the reason?

How to debug the problem?
