Unable to retrieve schema for mySQL db connection

I'm trying to retrieve table schemas for a mySQL db connection in Talend Open Studio for Data Integration on Mac OS X. I can set up the db connection and successfully test the connection, but when I right click on it, I do not get an option for retrieving schemas. The only option I have is export. Is this a limitation of the Mac client, the version I have, or something else entirely.

Hi,

The only option I have is export.

There must be something wrong with it.
Please check the Compatible Platforms to see if your system is supported.
Do the operation more than one time and restart you studio to see if this issue repro.

I use MySQL on OSX, so it does work.
pop-up menus don't work too well; but when it does work, I do see all menu options.

I have a similar problem with windows. The "Retrieve Schema" option is just not there when I right click on my db connection.
