Hi all,

where is possible find out how tconverttype auto cast works and so how specific data conversion will be carried out?

i want use this component but i want be aware of possible problems and limitations

Hello,

Could you please elaborate your case with an example with input and expected output values?

You will have to clean your data by removing comma, space and special characters before applying the type conversion via tConvertType component.

A schema is a row description. It defines the number of fields (columns) to be processed and passed on to the next component. When you create a Spark Job, avoid the reserved word line when naming the fields.
