Output mismatching while running query in query editor of component editor and running tDBInput

Hi,

I have put query in tDBInput. I have checked running it in query editor provided in component configuration. I got right result. When I run the component(tDBInput--->tMap-->tLogRow) clicking run button, getting output as 0's.

What may be the cause. Can I get solution?

Hi Meghana,

Please check whether the DB configuration and table names are correctly given. This should be your first step. Create the metadata repository for the DB and use the DB input from repository to avoid any typo errors.

Another item I would like you to check is to put a tlogrow immediately after tDBinput. This is to make sure that there is no filter condition present in the tmap component.

Could you please let us know your analysis result in these areas and also some screen shots of the job?

@MeghanaKottala,this could be below issues?

1) your configuration of environment

2) your tDBinput query issue/schema

3) DB table may not have data
