Removing Component on Job Design

Hello,
I have added multiple components to my Job Design and are not able to remove them. I'm selecting the component and then deleting it but it still stays there. Is there a trick to remove these?

Hi,
Due to you have added multiple components to your job designer, perhaps there are some conflict issue in it. Try to restart your studio and then remove them which you want to delete.

It appears that I am able to delete them if I move them outside of the job area. Not very intuitive but it works.

Sometimes I have the same behaviour. Usally it helps to close and re-open the job

Reopening the job didn't solve it. I was able to remove them but only if I dragged them outside of the shaded area. I have version 5.2 for the mac. Personally I think it is a bug. If you click on it and then say delete the expected behavior is that it would delete. But on a mac you have to drag it outside the shaded job area in order to delete it. Thank you for checking up on me. I think I am fine with the way it is working.

You can report an issue on Talend jira Bug tracker. Talend developer and related person will see if it is an issue.

Hi,
I am on training and having same issue while wanting to delete or if I want to move the component then it just creates a new copy but does'nt move it...kind of stuck and repeating all things as then nothing is executing with no warning msgs..i am using windows laptop.

The operation "Close and re-open" studio cannot help you to resolve your issue ? Which version are you using for training? Which OS?
