Hi All,

So I am creating this mapping for incremental load. So I am having a join between Excel file and MySQL Table in tMap. Now I have a requirement where I only have to insert records from excel which are not present in mysql table. For this I have written an expression in TMAP (LOOKUP.MASTER_HC=null).

Without this expression the mapping runs just fine but once I add this expression it fails with below error:

At least job "DMP_INCREMENTAL_LOGIC" has a compile errors, please fix and export again.
Error Line: 3847

Can anyone please help. This is bit critical for me.

"=" is an assignment operator in Java. If you are wanting to test for equality you will want to use "==". However, equality in Java can mean the same object (ie the same memory space, where "==" would be correct) or the same value (where other methods would be better to use).
