Talend does not use a separate FTP client, instead it uses Java libraries. What you see is the firewall functionality of Kaspersky.
You need to add java as trusted application.

Hi,
Kaspersky Antivirus blocks ACTIVE FTP mode used by Talend tFTPGet component. I am able to run the job and successfully ftp the file from remote server to local directory if i disable Kaspersky.
When I enable it, i get
[statistics] connecting to socket on port 3679
[statistics] connected
PORT/EPRT (Active Mode/Extended Active Mode) is not supported. Use PASV/EPSV instead of this
[statistics] disconnected
I read up online & contacted Kaspersky support as well. I need to open FTP.exe / client used by Talend as trusted application and to ask KS not to scan traffic on 21 port etc.
[list=*]

I added Talend 64 bit executable as well 32bit version

I added system32/ftp.exe and syswow64/ftp.exe to trusted apps and asked KS not to scan its traffic etc

Filezilla is added as trusted app as well and it works like a charm!

However, Still kaspersky blocks Talend. Thus, my question what exactly do i need to "add as trusted app" to make Talend work as well ?

Any thoughts ?
