Hi,
Actually, we don't see this issue in talend. It may be caused by your OS.
Could you please run your job in talend open source studio to see if there is any error log located in <Talend Studio installation path>/workspace/.metadata/.log?
Best regards
Sabrina

I understand, Sabrina. I was just hoping someone else had experienced this problem, and knew what the cause was, and perhaps had a solution.
No errors in the .log file, though each job run produces this:
!ENTRY org.talend.platform.logging 1 0 2014-05-20 14:46:00.482

I think that's normal, yes?
Thanks for your help! -Ben

I ended up bailing on the AWS EC2 server instance where I had tried to deploy these jobs. Upon moving them to another server, and running with a newer Java, things are working great. Not going to bother getting to the root cause of the original problem. Regards, Ben
