[resolved] Why is Talend closing randomly?

Has anyone seen Talend Open Studio close randomly and popup an error message:
Java was started but returned exit code = 1
C:\Windows\system32\javaw.exe
-Xms154m
-Xmx2536m
-XX:MaxPermSize=3256m

Are there any alternatives to uninstalling the security update patch KB2977629? I don't think our security people will let it be uninstalled from the Windows 2008 Server.
